I could not live my life without joy…
So I decided not to.
For a while, I was the girl who had it all together.
Perfect 4.0 (from NC State University)
Perfect Degrees (Animal Science and Social Work)
Perfect career (Realtor, even got a house!)
Perfect $$$ (you get it)
Perfect future (yeah right haha!)
Shall I go on?
So I took my journey into my own hands and left it all behind…even with the future being unknown.
The life of perfection I was living was draining and I knew I could not keep doing it any longer. I just wanted to be my quirky, joy spreading self with no limits.
After living in Belize, I had an awakening. A moment where I realized how to combine my passion, purpose, and abilities.
I decided to be brave and launched my own proactive mental wellness company called Project Passport. And I speak for various companies and events. I also recently launched a therapy practice called Fruits of Freedom Counseling. Life is wild, huh?
Now, I help others paint their own picture to find their ultimate joy by giving up the status quo. Let’s be real, life can really be tough. Life can suck the life out of you! However, YOU have the tools to face the ebbs and flows of life as we know it. I mean it.
And here we are…
A couple of other important things about me:
I am the type of person to yell, “Get back up!” while simultaneously hugging you and saying, “You can DO this!”
Saying “no” is the best feeling EVER!
You can only find yourself by getting lost.
Traveling is a keystone to life.
It’s okay to eat all of the Pillsbury Holiday cookies.
Having control over your day is paradise.
I get to pick joy (you do too!)
